Charter for Waterpark RFC Senior Players (Adult Players Only)

I ………………………..as ……………………………of Waterpark RFC am fully committed to the Rugby Development Plan. I have read the overview of the Rugby Development Plan and I am fully committed to the aspects of the plan applicable to me.

I acknowledge the need for individual commitment and responsibility to achieve the changes and goals set within the Rugby Development Plan. I will follow any programmes (i.e strength, fitness, skill, dietary) to the best of my ability. I will to adhere to any set of rules set out by the individual teams including agreed rules and preparation for matches. I agree to turn up to training and matches at the agreed time with everything required to train/play. I will communicate early and clearly to the agreed contact in the event of non-attendance.

I understand and agree that non adherence to the principles* of this commitment by any player/s is not acceptable and that this may result in suspension and or removal of players/s from teams. I have read the attached list and understand and accept that Major infractions may result in immediate suspension and repeat minor infractions will result in disciplinary action from the club.

I will respect my coaches and fellow team mates and I will represent Waterpark RFC to the best of my ability, both on and off the pitch.

There is of course a provision where there is reasonable reasons communicated and accepted preventing total commitment.

Guidance on Disciplinary Matters.

MAJOR INFRACTIONS
 
Typical Major Infractions:
Arriving to Training/Match under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
Missing Match without reason.
Abuse of fellow Club members (Phyysical or verbal).
 
Procedure.
1) Warning from Coach
2) Immediate review of matter by the Disciplinary Committee
3) Possible disciplinary action including suspension from the Club.
 
MINOR INFRACTIONS
 
Typical Minor Infractions:
Ignoring Team rules/Coaches instructions
Missing Training without reason
Anything else not on the "Major” list
 
Procedure.
1) Warning from Coach, stressing the possible consequences.
2) Review of matter by the Disciplinary Committee if repeat instances.
3) Possible disciplinary action.
 
DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE.
 
A disciplinary committee will consist of minimum 2 assigned persons from the Rugby Committee and the Team Coach or Manager.
