Waterpark RFC Rugby Development

After the recent disappointment following relegation to Junior League status we are again hopefull for our future, following a decade of success at East Munster, Munster and All-Ireland Youth level.   We now have  players coming through to our Adult teams and there is a new sense of hope and excitement around the club.

To ensure the continued development of our rugby standards we formed a rugby committee to develop and implement structures to assist player development. Based on feedback  a club vision is in place and goals are set to try achieve over the next 5 years.

To achieve these goals their are critical success areas within the club, such as having a clear plan, developing coaches, having an efficient rugby committee in place, providing modern facilities and of course facilitating in every way individual player and team development. The critical areas as defined by the rugby committee are listed below and covered in detail within the website.

We seek player development at  physical, technical, tactical and psychological levels. Player Development is the critical  success factor and every effort is been made to  provide on-going support to allow players to develop to their maximum potential. This website is just one part of many aspects of support been put in place to facilitate player development. Team success is dependent on individual input, in this regard we need players to raise their individual expectation, to improve performances and to provide a minimum level of personal commitment and responsibility. Team performances only can return Waterpark RFC back to where it belongs amongst the best of Munster in the AIL League.

Apologies whilst the website is being constructed, for now you can have overview of the sections below and register for membership of this section of the site. The site will be fully functional for players to input and monitor development from 29th July.
New players are very welcome to join Waterpark RFC.
